Hi Kathryn,

That's the great part about being married to my hubby. He can find an alternate route to most destinations! Dinner was good, but not exciting,

Hey Cindy!

Wow! Ten miles sounds so close to me! It's about 27 miles to the movie theater from my house. The amount of time it takes to get there depends on the amount of traffic. We saw "The Bucket List." If you haven't seen it yet, and I know you want to, then I recommend it. It was very entertaining. BTW, I wish we lived closer to each other, I really want to see 27 Dresses. My husband would rather poke out his eyes and Julia works nights!

Y'all come back!

Fay,
The town I live her in NC doesn't have a movie theatre either. The closest one is 10 miles away. We usually rent since I have a hard time sitting still without getting stiff for two hours.

I hope you are well!

I think it comes down to the fact that most people don't really know the place where they live--not in the real, geographical sense. Instead, we look for the quickest line between point A and point B and forget absolutely everything in between. Given a choice, I'll take a video rental store and not much traffic any day!

PS- Hope you had a nice dinner!
